Hello there! I’m Buddy Davis, the host of Out and About on Answers TV. Let’s get our hands a little dirty as we investigate God’s amazing creation.
Once when I was fishing for salmon in Alaska, I looked up and saw a brown bear coming toward me! My friends and I tried to scare it off by making loud noises, but it just kept coming. We were all praying for safety. Finally, the bear spooked and walked away. What a relief!
Grab a pencil and a piece of paper, and let’s draw!
- Start by lightly sketching a balloon shape and some guidelines for the head. It’s okay to be sloppy. It’s always easier to have some reference lines.
- Using more pressure, draw rough shapes of the eyes, eyebrows, and nose. Use the reference lines to keep things centered.
- Time to add some big U shapes for the snout, mouth, and ears.
- Now you can add some details to fill in the ears, eyes, and the shape of the nostrils.
- Next fill in the nose and add his big furry head. This can be as simple or complex as you want. Throw in some nice squiggles.
- Erase the reference lines, and you’re done—unless you want to add some color. From here the rest is up to you!
