Corrections

“A Biblical View of Juneteenth” (Answers April–June 2025) erroneously cited the number of slaves in the United States as 10–12 million. However, that number represents the total number of slaves in all the Americas, not only North America. The accurate number of enslaved Africans in North America was closer to 388,000, by some estimates.

In the Answers April–June 2025 Culture News (page 31), Answers magazine stated that Great Britain had legalized euthanasia. However, as of this issue going to press, the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill has been passed only by the House of Commons, which is just one step in the process to becoming law. The bill would legalize assisted dying.

Clarification

In the April–June 2025 issue, the article “The Temple of Eden?” states that God did not give specific design plans for the temple. The context was in reference to artistic design—that God did not tell Israel exactly how to decorate the temple— not architectural design, which God did give to David in 1 Chronicles 28:9–11.

Resiliant Beauty

Eager About Eagles

I am a 16-year-old Answers and Kids Answers magazine reader. I enjoy reading your magazines and am encouraged by their teachings. One particular article in Kids Answers, about bald eagles, caught my attention. We live near bald eagles and sometimes get to see them flying overhead. It is so neat to see these massive birds and to see their massive nests. Thanks for all you do and continue to spread the love of Jesus.
