Transcript

Most illustrations of Noah’s Ark show elephants, giraffes, lions, and other familiar animals aboard the Ark. But actually, many of the animals on the Ark probably wouldn’t be as familiar to us today.

First, Noah wasn't told to take every “species” on the Ark—he was to take two of every kind. And kind is much broader than species. For example, lions, tigers, and leopards are all part of the cat kind.

Since Noah’s Flood, these kinds have formed new species. But this isn’t evolution. You see, no new genetic information has been added, something evolution requires. Instead, the original kinds have lost information as they have spread around the world and adapted to different environments. This confirms Genesis!
