It’s “Giving Tuesday,” the day when many people kick off their year-end giving. And this year we’re asking you to join with us so we can house our stunning indoor model of first-century Jerusalem. It’s one of the world’s largest, and it will be the most up-to-date, benefiting from all the latest archeological research. It’s going to be a phenomenal teaching tool and a wonderful addition to the Ark Encounter—we can’t wait to share it with you!
This indoor model will be absolutely massive and divided into three pieces, so guests can walk around the models and through the middle of them while enjoying the intricate details (there will be so much to look at!). This three-part model will be integrated with cutting-edge technologies to enhance your understanding of the city that witnessed so many key events recorded in Scripture.
The teaching will help guests discover the accuracy of the Bible, corroborated by archaeology, and the importance of the Great Commission.
And, of course, like everything we do, we will be providing a lot of associated teaching, including apologetics for the historicity of Jesus and the truth of the Gospels and the New Testament. The teaching will help guests discover the accuracy of the Bible, corroborated by archaeology, and the importance of the Great Commission.
This exhibit is going to be so powerful and will help provide more helpful context for the New Testament and ministry of Jesus. It will be a wonderful addition to the Ark Encounter (and ties in wonderfully with the fantastic Borderland: Israel at the Time of Jesus exhibit at the Creation Museum).
Now, the exhibit itself is fully funded thanks to your generosity last year. But the exhibit needs a building to house it with all the necessary technology. So, our designers came up with a great plan: combine a much-needed new Welcome Center and bus drop-off area master-planned by our beloved late Patrick Marsh, who passed away last year—with the Jerusalem model building. This will open up the Ark grounds for future expansion (including the Tower of Babel attraction we’d love to build if all works out the way we hope). It’s all very exciting!
The new Jerusalem building and Welcome Center is the focus of our 2022 end-of-year campaign and therefore “Giving Tuesday” as well today. And I’m thrilled that, thanks to generous supporters, we can offer a matching gift offer again this year. Every donation made toward the combined Welcome Center and Jerusalem model building will be matched (through December 31), dollar-for-dollar, up to $8.5 million!
Your gift is matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $8.5 million.
We’ve already raised well over $5 million toward our $20 million goal (praise the Lord!). Will you join us in reaching believers and unbelievers (we believe nearly 1 in 3 of our guests are unbelievers) with the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel? Your gift is matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $8.5 million.
You can give today at AnswersinGenesis.org/donate. Thank you for your support! We are so thankful for the many generous donors the Lord uses to continue to grow this ministry.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
