Recently, the Evangelical Press Association (EPA) announced their 2023 award winners in Lexington, Kentucky. And once again, AiG won numerous awards. Five first-place awards, five second-place awards, one third-place award, three fourth-place awards, and one fifth-place award, as well as four Awards of Merit and one Award of Excellence.

As people who have visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum know, we are known for doing everything with excellence.

We praise the Lord for 20 total awards this year! As people who have visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum know, we are known for doing everything with excellence.

The awards covered the whole spectrum of formats (print, digital, and video) and websites at AiG—including Answers magazine, Kids Answers magazine, the Kids Answers website, Answers Research Journal, and the AiG website.

Our very own Answers magazine won several awards, including four first-place awards, three second-place awards, several third-, fourth-, and fifth-place awards, and an Award of Merit. Now, to keep this blog moderately short, I’ll just cover the first-place winners and the Awards of Merit/ Excellence below.

  • 1st Place: Fiction (“For Better or WoofKids Answers), written by our Kids Answers staff and illustrated by David Leonard.
  • 1st Place: First Person (“Holding on to HomeAnswers magazine), written by Laura Allnutt
  • 1st Place: General Article Short (“Time to EatAnswers magazine), written by Schuyler Vander Wilt
  • 1st Place: Standing Column (“Creation Every Day” Answers magazine), written by Sarah Eshleman
  • 1st Place: Cause of the Year (Adoption and Foster Care, “Tie-Dye HeartAnswers magazine), written by Schuyler Vander Wilt

Regarding the Awards of Merit and the Award of Excellence that AiG won for this past year, they were:

  • Award of Merit (General Print Magazine) Answers magazine
  • Award of Merit (Youth Print) Kids Answers
  • Award of Merit (General Digital) Answers Research Journal
  • Award of Merit (Organizational Digital) Answers in Genesis website
  • Award of Excellence (Youth Digital) Kids Answers website
  • Web Content team with Kids Answers Magazine award

Linda Sauer (Web Content Manager, left) and Frost Smith (Content Director, right)

  • Kids Answers Magazine Youth (Digital) Award of Excellence
  • Answers Research Journal General (Digital) Award of Merit
  • Answers in Genesis Organizational (Digital) Award of Merit
  • Answers in Genesis Short-form Video Fourth Place

As can be seen from the above lists, Answers magazine continues to be a multiple award-winning publication. It is managed by devoted leadership; staffed with talented artists, graphic designers, and writers; and also has numerous contributing authors and reviewers dedicated to providing high-quality articles on a biblical-creation worldview and apologetics (and I may be biased, but I also think it contains jaw-dropping visuals). Congratulations to all involved in making Answers magazine the best biblical-worldview magazine for the whole family!

You can find thousands of faith-building articles at our award-winning websites Answers Research Journal, Kids Answers, and AnswersInGenesis.org, where you can also subscribe to our award-winning magazines, Answers and Kids Answers, available in both print and digital format.

By the way, we are always looking for talented people to join our AiG staff. Check AnswersInGenesis.org/jobs for current positions available.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
