During the winter months (January 1 to March 9, 2024), our two attractions, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, are not open Sunday through Tuesday. During these closed days, our artists and fabrication teams work on doing some very needed cleaning and repairing of the exhibits. Enjoy these behind-the-scenes photos of what’s happening on days that we’re closed to the public.
Our artists painted along the walkway in the Garden of Eden to fix some wear and tear to the exhibit. They are also working on a new mural in the Welcome Center. The fabrication team cleaned and did repairs on our Lucy exhibit.
There is much to be done to get ready for the busy season, which really starts about mid-March and continues through the end of the year.
There is much to be done to get ready for the busy season, which really starts about mid-March and continues through the end of the year. And that busy season will be here soon as thousands of families pour into the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter to enjoy everything we have to offer—including our special programs which ramp up during the spring, summer, and fall, such as our Explore programs (half-days of hands-on science) and our Explore Camps (three- or five-day science camps). These camps and programs fill up quickly, so be sure to register your student right away to ensure a spot!
Yes, things will soon be getting busy here at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter! We praise the Lord for the busy season and for the slower times that enable us to accomplish needed upgrades and cleaning regimens.
Make sure you plan to visit the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world. Check our websites for daily schedules and hours of operation at ArkEncounter.com and CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
