In the book of Daniel, we read about the nation of Babylon—a pagan nation with little concept of the biblical God—and how God’s people, in exile, lived for his glory in spite of the wicked nation they dwelt in. And for many of us in the West, it increasingly feels like we’re now living in Babylon too. How can we live for God’s glory in the midst of an increasingly pagan world?
Well, our Chief Ministry Officer, Martyn Iles, spoke on that exact topic during our homeschool experience earlier this year, and I thought I would share his powerful presentation with you and then give you an exciting ministry update.
And now for the exciting ministry update—I’m headed back to Australia! Martyn Iles and I will be speaking in four major Australian cities from February 28–March 9, 2024—including Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne. This tour is called Living in Babylon, and it’s going to be a powerful tour as we equip thousands of Aussies with foundational truths from God’s Word, answers to the skeptical questions of our day, and encouragement to live for Christ in Babylon. Over 6,000 Aussies are already registered, so if you live Down Under, make sure you don’t miss it!
You can register (or preregister, depending on the event) for the Living in Babylon: Australia Tour to secure your spot. Our last speaking event in Australia sold out quickly, so be sure to register soon. We hope to see you there!
You can also catch Martyn and me in person at Shades Mountain Community Church in Birmingham, Alabama, this Sunday (September 24, 2023) or you can tune in for the livestream of “Creation Blueprints” with Martyn at 9 a.m. and my presentation “Divided Nation: Cultures in Chaos and a Conflicted Church” at 10:30 a.m.
We want to help raise up “Daniels” to be able to live in this pagan culture and stand boldly for God and his Word.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
