Vehicle Wrapped with Ark Encounter Logo Races at NASCAR

For the Xfinity Series race at the Daytona International Speedway, the sponsors wrapped the car to advertise the Ark Encounter. The owners of ForeverLawn want as many people as possible to know about the Ark and come to visit our two attractions, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum.

The ForeverLawn sponsors arranged for us to have VIP passes so we could spend time in the pits and also have the thrilling experience of standing around the car with Jeffrey as the national anthem was played and the race began.

Right before the race started, I was asked to pray for Jeffrey, for his safety, and that God would use this car to bring the Ark to the attention of many people. So a group of us stood around Jeffrey at the car while I prayed over him.

More people now know about the Ark.

While a group of us wearing our car #45 shirts with the Ark Encounter logo were standing with Jeffrey and the car, we overheard other people around us say, “What is this Ark, and who are those Ark people?” Well, more people now know about the Ark.

Jeffrey was also interviewed on live television, and he particularly mentioned the Ark, and this clip was played again on the news later that evening.

I also took our new Aussie Chief Ministry Officer, Martyn Iles, with me to have an “American experience.” There is certainly nothing like this in Australia, even though they have some famous races.

There were three crashes during the race, and Jeffrey was able to negotiate through them, even though he was bumped off the track at one stage. The Lord kept him safe, and he came in 11th. As we watched the cars race around the track, the Ark Encounter logo on the hood and other places of the car really stood out. And a few times, the television camera focused in on the car as various aspects of the race were being described.
