There’s always something exciting happening at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in N. Kentucky. Construction is currently ongoing for a number of projects. I thought I’d highlight two for you today: a custom carousel from a company in Italy, which will be installed (if all goes according to plan) by summer 2022 at the Ark, and our permanent, expanded Fearfully & Wonderfully Made pro-life exhibit coming to the Creation Museum in the Fall of 2022.

A Unique Carousel

This carousel will complete our children’s area at the Ark, which already features a state-of-the-art playground for families and children of all abilities. We plan to offer carousel rides free with Ark admission (and all children 10 and under enjoy free admission for 2022), and it will be housed indoors so guests can enjoy it all year regardless of the weather. The building to house the carousel is well under construction.

Special artwork depicting animals coming to the Ark, along with some custom animals to ride on (which guests will recognize from the exhibits inside the Ark), will make this a one-of-a-kind carousel.

Fearfully & Wonderfully Made Expansion

Our design team for the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter are feverishly working on many updates and new exhibits. For instance, the Creation Museum’s Palm Plaza downstairs is receiving a massive upgrade, and we are tripling the size of the current Fearfully & Wonderfully Made exhibit. It will be more powerful than ever as a unique pro-life exhibit. I visited our design studios to take some photos of various items being worked on that will be installed over the coming months.
