The Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter are exciting places to be! We just opened the stunning Borderland: Israel at the Time of Jesus exhibit at the Creation Museum, are five weeks into our 40 Days and 40 Nights of Gospel Music event at the Ark, are hosting an exclusive red carpet world premiere of the Kendrick Brother’s Courageous: Legacy film during our Answers for Pastors conference, and more—and now I’ve got two more announcements!
Beginning with Genesis, Encounter the Wonder shared how God created a perfect world, how it was marred by sin, and how Jesus came as our Savior.
Many of you may remember our spectacular Encounter the Wonder program from our first ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter. This laser projection show was shown on the side of the 510-foot-long life-size Noah’s Ark—it was spectacular! Beginning with Genesis, Encounter the Wonder shared how God created a perfect world, it was marred by sin, but Jesus came as our Savior. It’s the gospel message, beginning in Genesis. That initial showing was recorded and has been shown each ChristmasTime (our free Christmas event at the Ark) each year since inside the Answers Center.
Well, our AV team has been working hard with a local company to remaster this incredible program to show in a whole new venue—the 4D Special Effects Theater at the Creation Museum. The 3D glasses and special effects bring this stunning program to life, helping families marvel over the beautiful plan of salvation that began in a garden 6,000 years ago. The 3D in this theater will amaze you—be prepared for some surprises.
Encounter the Wonder is included with your Creation Museum admission.
The graphics have also been upgraded to make this a one-of-a-kind, world-class program that leaves guests in awe of how great our Creator God is.
Okay, time for my second exciting announcement. Over the years, tens of thousands of guests have enjoyed the Creation Museum’s premier planetarium program, Created Cosmos. Well, this phenomenal program has been upgraded to 4k for our laser projection system in our stunning planetarium. The graphics have also been upgraded to make this a one-of-a-kind, world-class program that leaves guests in awe of how great our Creator God is.
After watching this presentation, we exclaim, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” (Psalm 8:3–4).
Our planetarium does require an extra ticket, and you’ll want to get your tickets early in the day before shows sell out.
Don’t miss either of these stunning programs—Encounter the Wonder and Created Cosmos—during your next museum visit. Be sure to visit soon and, remember, children 10 and under enjoy free museum admission this year. Go to CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
