It was with great disappointment back in the spring that we canceled all of our spring programs at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter due to the response to the pandemic. But we’re very excited that a number of fall programs will be offered (albeit with new policies in place to ensure every guest has a safe visit). Join us this fall for Día Latino, Deaf Days, Answers for Pastors and Leaders, and Creation College Expo.
- Día Latino, September 26–27, 2020. Tour the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, enjoy our brand-new exhibits, zoos, playgrounds, and more. Spanish signage and interpreters will be available, and you’ll enjoy presentations, videos, a worship concert, and more, all in Spanish. And don’t miss worshipping with other believers during the Sunday morning service.
- Answers for Pastors and Leaders, October 6–8, 2020. Get equipped to think biblically about sexuality and gender with this conference designed for pastors and Christian leaders but open for anyone to attend. Hear from brothers David and Jason Benham, Dr. Georgia Purdom, Joe Owen, Dr. Owen Strachan, Denny Burk, and me with music from the talented Michael O’Brien. Admission includes an annual pass to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! The Ark Encounter has massive facilities that allow for social distancing and we have implemented other safety requirements.
- Deaf Days, October 10–11, 2020. Come enjoy the cool fall weather in beautiful Northern Kentucky during our two-day event specifically for the Deaf at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. ASL translators and Deaf volunteers will be available and all presentations, videos, and more are either presented in ASL, ASL interpreted, or closed captioned. Avery Foley will be giving an ASL-interpreted “Gay ‘Marriage’ and God’s Word” presentation. Sunday morning, our Deaf Days guests will gather for a special worship service.
- Creation College Expo, November 5–7, 2020. Discover Christian colleges and seminaries who take a stand on the authority of God’s Word, creation, and the age of the earth (such schools are, sadly, a minority) at our Creation College Expo. Students in grades 7–12 can meet one-on-one with reps from these schools, learn about their programs, hear from Answers in Genesis speakers, and tour the Ark Encounter—all for free. This is a “don’t miss” event for high school students! While creationist colleges are a minority among Christian schools today, here is a unique opportunity for you to find out more about those that are. Students today need creationist, Christian worldview training that is not really taught by most Christian colleges.
I encourage you to make plans to attend at least one of these fall programs. It’s a beautiful time of year to come to the Northern Kentucky area and these programs are sure to encourage and equip you. And remember, for all of 2020 kids 10 and under enjoy free admission to both attractions! Make plans today at ArkEncounter.com.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
