For nearly two years now, we’ve been doing a twice-weekly live news show, Answers News. This creationist/Christian commentary on science and cultural news airs live on Facebook (my public Facebook and AiG Facebook pages), as well as on YouTube (AiG’s YouTube channel), every Monday and Thursday at 2 p.m. ET. It’s become quite popular and gained a large international following.
One young lady, a 15-year-old from the United States, recently shared with us how God has been using Answers News and other AiG resources to equip and encourage her:
Monday and Thursday, I watch Answers News. Thursday, God used Answers News in an amazing way. Recently, my uncle sent me an article that claimed humans are not special because our mtDNA [mitochondrial DNA] has similarities to animal mtDNA. Curious on what AiG had to say, I searched for an explanation. I read them, and the main thing I understood was: the creationists were not surprised! However, I didn't understand all the scientific material. I figured I would just point out the article used circular reasoning, and show him why I believe humans are special, only God can decide what is special, and why I believe the Bible. I did not send the email right after I wrote it.
When I watched Answers News, they explained the mtDNA article! I am going to go into the details now! God has such grand ways of working things out, and it was amazing to see how he did it! I am 15 years old, and I read AiG a lot! AiG encourages me to stand on the authority of God’s word! I will keep praying for AiG. Thank you!
We’re so thankful God is using this ministry to impact others—including many young people who are boldly sharing the gospel with others.
I encourage you to tune in, and watch Answers News live every Monday and Thursday at 2 p.m., or watch each episode archived on the Answers in Genesis YouTube channel.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
