I was excited to go behind the scenes recently at a church in Columbus, Ohio, during their Vacation Bible School (VBS). This VBS was extra special because this church is a pilot church for our Answers VBS—they were doing next year’s program! We’re very excited that young people will be discovering Jesus from eternity past to eternity future with the 2018 VBS, Time Lab.
While I was in Columbus, I recorded two Facebook Live videos to give you a sneak peek at what next year’s VBS will be like. The first video takes you behind the scenes with two of the talented ladies involved with writing and producing Answers VBS. You’ll see the beautiful set, some of the scene setters, and the classroom decorations. And, let me tell you, it’s quite the set. The children who come to your VBS are sure to love this science- and invention-themed adventure as they learn about the Trinity, eternity, and, of course, the gospel. They’ll learn that the first mention of Jesus in the Bible is actually in Genesis 1:1!
This second video features the closing assembly for Day Three of Time Lab, including the songs and drama—and the robot! You’ll also hear from a few students and leaders who’ve been part of the VBS.
Answers VBS has become one of the most popular VBS kits in the world and is highly unique. It’s the only one we know of that, year after year, combines apologetics with solid Bible-teaching. These kids aren’t just learning “fluff and stuff”—they are learning deep truths from God’s Word.
I encourage you to consider Answers VBS for your church.
