Since opening on July 7, we’ve had people from all over the world come to visit the Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky, including guests from Haiti, Kuwait, Mexico, and Canada. Some of our guests you’ll probably recognize, such as Dr. John Whitcomb, coauthor of The Genesis Flood; Bill Nye “the Science Guy”; and representatives of the coming Museum of the Bible. Another special guest who recently toured the Ark was Pastor Johnny Hunt, former president of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Hunt, who previously endorsed the world-class Creation Museum, thoroughly enjoyed his visit to this unique Christian attraction. He encouraged other SBC leaders and pastors to visit and to urge others to come as well. Ark Encounter makes the biblical account of Noah come to life, answers the skeptical questions of our day, and, most importantly, points people toward Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Dr. Hunt said,
My trip to the Ark Encounter was a bit overwhelming. I will need at least an entire day for my next visit, which will be very soon. I received far more than I anticipated [by] way of inspiration, instruction, and glorious unfolding of biblical history. I would encourage every pastor and leader in our Southern Baptist Convention to attend and promote this great gospel attraction.
If you haven’t visited Ark Encounter yet, plan your visit today! You will be strengthened and encouraged with solid answers to the skeptical questions of this age, and will leave with a renewed appreciation for the truth of God’s Word. I encourage you to bring unbelieving family members and friends with you. They will be challenged to consider God’s Word and the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
Plan your visit at ArkEncounter.com.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
