I am thankful and honored that the students at a Christian school in Ripplemead, Virginia, presented Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter with enough money to obtain a peg and plank for the life-size Noah’s Ark currently under construction in northern Kentucky. It’s great to see young people who are on board with the mission and message of Answers in Genesis, and it’s wonderful to meet teachers and parents who firmly believe in this ministry and who stand on the truth of God’s Word from the very first verse.
One of the school administrators told some of our AiG staff that the school and its supporting church use AiG materials and curriculum in their teaching on Sundays and in the classrooms. The administrator said that he and the students are excited to see an evangelistic tool like the Ark be built so that people can visit and experience the gospel hands on. He said that the students are already looking forward to making a trip back to Kentucky when the Ark is open in 2016.
In an era when we see so many young people walking away from the church, what an encouragement it is to see young people like this standing with Answers in Genesis and generously supporting our outreaches.
I encourage you to keep up-to-date with the Ark Encounter project—and to consider making a donation yourself toward a peg and plank (or even a beam)—at ArkEncounter.com.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
