Thankful This Memorial Day

At Answers in Genesis we have a lot to remember and be thankful for this Memorial Day weekend in America. The Creation Museum is celebrating its eighth birthday this year, and we praise God that he has brought 2.4 million guests to walk through our exhibits to learn the truth of God’s Word and the gospel, beginning in Genesis. On this Memorial Day, we are thankful for our veterans and active-serving members of the US military who have risked their lives for our freedom and to keep us safe. Most of all, we are thankful for the person of Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sin. With His death on the Cross, He took the penalty that we all deserve because of sin—death. And He paid the penalty Himself. He then conquered death by rising from the dead. Now all those who believe in Him are forgiven and will have eternal life (John 3:16). We are so thankful for His sacrifice that gives us life and freedom.

I encourage you to pray with us that America will not lose its freedoms, especially the freedom of religion and free exercise of religion, both of which are under increasing attack today.
