The Creation Museum is offering a special holiday workshop three days this month. Our museum staff has told me that the workshop will “review the account of the first Christmas in an ‘oh-so-different’ way! Experience a fun, engaging, educational, action-packed hour that ends with time at the manger. A take-home craft solidifies the point that Jesus is the greatest gift of all.”
This workshop for children ages 4–12 is called Christmas Town Kids and costs $3.50 (10% discount for museum members). Ruth Carter, a daughter of missionaries to Africa and with many years of experience as a children’s teacher and curriculum writer, will present Christmas Town Kids tomorrow (Saturday) the 18th at 12:00 and 2:00; and on the 27th at 1:30. Notice that these dates fall on some of the days that the Creation Museum is hosting its annual gift to the community called Christmas Town, so make plans to come for the workshop and then stay for the live Nativity, dramas, and the lights! For further information go to the Creation Museum blog post.
Here is a photo taken last week of our Mary and Joseph characters in the kataluma and our archaeologist actor who explains the Nativity:
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
