Proof of Creation?

This morning at our "Creation College" national conference here in our Cincinnati/N. Kentucky area (by the way, Thursday night's sessions are free and open to the public), Dr. Jason Lisle gave an excellent keynote talk (he gave a version of it to our staff earlier) based on his new book The Ultimate Proof of Creation. That book is one of our best sellers right now.

As I wrote recently on this website, I believe Ultimate Proof is one of the most important creationist books to teach people how to think biblically and how to argue logically in the defense of the Christian faith. In fact, people would have been less likely to have been led astray by compromise regarding the book of Genesis and would have easily recognized the illogical arguments of believing in an old earth and other supposed "evidences" had this book been available earlier. These compromising ideas that have caused so many to question the authority of Scripture. I urge you to get a copy.

There is a great buzz at Creation College. We are certainly maxing out the facility (about 1,200 people)! Praise the Lord.

Youth Convention

Last night I broke away from Creation College and spoke to nearly 2,000 young people at the Freewill Baptist Youth Convention held this year in Cincinnati. We offered the young people a very special deal on obtaining the new pocket guides to help them defend the Christian faith. After my hour-long presentation they flocked to the tables to get these books (at a highly subsidized price)—they were so excited! Another unique opportunity to equip the coming generation of young people!

Even More than the First Year

Yesterday, over 2,000 people visited the Creation Museum—even more than for the same date the year the museum opened (2007)! People are coming from all across the USA and around the world!

40th Anniversary Celebration at the Creation Museum

Museum members Darin and Cristina Urbyte from Frankenmuth, Michigan, gave a special gift to Cristina's parents in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary this week—they brought them to the Creation Museum. Becky and Gerry Survant celebrated forty years of marriage with their first-time visit to the museum. A Creation Museum visit is a tremendous gift to honor the institution of marriage for any couple, as part of the experience is learning about the origin of marriage, which is founded in Genesis (and which we show in the museum). When Gerry was asked if it seemed like just yesterday that they got married, he smiled and admitted that it was not necessarily like yesterday but definitely not long ago!

Special Visit from the Cincinnati City Gospel Mission "Having the Courage to Change" Women's Program

Friday evening 22 women from the "Having the Courage to Change" City Gospel Mission Women's Program visited the Creation Museum. These ladies, we learned, know the pain of the bondage of sin and have, through this special women's program, given their hearts to Jesus Christ and made Him Lord of their lives. I was told that this visit was a very special event for these ladies and their children. The biblical content of the museum was far beyond their expectations. Each new exhibit was met with wide eyes and ooh's and aah's. The message of biblical authority reinforced their newfound walk with Christ. At the end of their visit, hugs and thank you's were exchanged for the generosity and hospitality of the museum staff.

Having the Courage to Change is a long-term residential recovery program that was started by Lucreta Bowman. It includes Bible study and counseling to aid individuals in their recovery process.

(Exodus 29:42) This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto you.

(Exodus 29:46) And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.

We have no greater happiness in life than the enjoyment of the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ who saved us to be forever united to Him.
