Dr. DeYoung at AiG

by Ken Ham

Last Thursday, Dr. Donald DeYoung visited AiG and spoke to our staff at morning chapel time. Dr. DeYoung is Chairman of the Department of Physical Science at Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana. He is also on the faculty of the Institute for Creation Research, San Diego, and a member of the Creation Research Society.

Dr. DeYoung is also the author of Thousands... Not Billions, a new book that deals with the latest and very compelling creationist research concerning the age of the Earth (a result of an eight year study called the RATE project). I urge you to obtain this new book and learn about the exciting powerful evidences concerning radiometric dating (including some fascinating information on Carbon dating).

The title of Dr. DeYoung’s presentation to the staff was, “Taking Care of God’s Creation.” Dr. DeYoung reminded us of God’s first command—to fill the earth and subdue it—to take care of what God has entrusted to us.

Through his talk, Dr. DeYoung encouraged us to study, understand and manage creation, helping to bring out its best. He provided five examples, both biblical and from the world around us, of how we can do this.

Home Again

Well, we’ve been on the road for a week—but we arrived home safely (with ALL of our luggage) Sunday evening. In listening to all my voice mails at the office, I found out that more secular media have been in contact with us—I will tell you about that tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by,

Ken
