David Thigpen

David graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive social studies and mathematics with an emphasis in education, Bible, and geography. He taught for 25 years at Legacy Christian High School (Xenia, Ohio) as a history/government teacher where he also coached varsity golf and was the National Honor Society advisor. David was also a Sunday school teacher at Patterson Park Church for 20 years. He feels privileged to be a part of Answers Academy as a history and Bible teacher. David is married to his wife Rachel, and they have a daughter who teaches kindergarten in Ohio and a middle school son who is also at Answers Academy.
