Although the AiG ministry does not make political recommendations and does not recommend one presidential candidate over another, we believe that during a time when the creation/evolution debate is apparently a hot enough topic in America’s “culture wars” to make a presidential debate, it is instructional to know what leading politicians think about evolution. Watch how the candidates answered—by show of hands—at the MSNBC website (it's the second question on the segment of this page entitled Government performance, belief in evolution).
The three hands that went up—indicating that they did not believe in evolution—were (former) Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas, Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado, and Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas.
The presidential debate was held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library north of Los Angeles, California.
