Dr. Terry Mortenson joined Answers in Genesis in 2001 having lectured on the creation-evolution controversy in 22 countries since the late 1970s, and participated in seven formal debates with PhD evolutionary scientists in secular venues in four countries. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and has presented six creation-related papers at their annual meetings. He has also helped to lead several by-invitation-only, seven-day rafts trips through Grand Canyon for seminary and Christian college professors and other key Christian leaders from over 90 institutions and 10 countries. He is the author of numerous magazine and journal articles and several book chapters. The revised version of his PhD thesis was published as The Great Turning Point: the Church’s Catastrophic Mistake on Geology—Before Darwin, and he co-edited and contributed two chapters to the scholarly book, Coming to Grips with Genesis: Biblical Authority and the Age of the Earth.
Dr. Tommy Mitchell is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He received his MD in 1984 and completed his residency in internal medicine in 1987. He felt the Lord's call to full-time service, and in 2007 he withdrew from the active practice of medicine to join AiG as a full-time speaker and writer.
Diana Waring, author of the History Revealed curriculum, discovered years ago that "the key to education is relationship." Beginning in the early 80's, Diana homeschooled her children through high-school—providing the real life opportunities to learn how kids learn. Mentored by educators whose focus was to honor Him who created all learners, and with an international background (born in Germany, university degree in French, lifelong student of world history), Diana has been enthusiastically received by audiences on four continents.
Dr. David Menton earned a PhD in cell biology from Brown University. He served as a biomedical research technician at Mayo Clinic and then as an associate professor of anatomy at Washington University School of Medicine (St Louis). For almost two decades he has been profiled in American Men and Women of Science—A Biographical Directory of Today’s Leaders in Physical, Biological and Related Sciences
. Dr. Menton has lectured throughout the United States and Canada on the creation-evolution controversy.
