Adam and Eve in Ancient Egypt?

For over a century, both secular scholars and liberal biblical studies have argued that the Jewish exiles in Babylon incorporated elements of pagan Babylonian mythology when shaping the early chapters of Genesis and their foundational beliefs about origins. However, when these concepts are compared with ancient Egyptian thought, striking and thought-provoking parallels emerge. Such similarities suggest that ideas about creation, Adam and Eve, and the fall were originally biblical but later adapted and reshaped within the broader ancient Near Eastern context.

These beliefs may have been transmitted through Ham, the son of Noah, following the flood, as he and his son Mizraim established Egypt’s earliest settlements after the tower of Babel dispersion. Drawing from ancient Egyptian sources, Gavin illustrates how their creation narratives can be traced back to Ham. Through eight predictions rooted in Genesis, he demonstrates how these biblical themes find remarkable fulfillment in ancient Egyptian ideology. This presentation is designed for a technical-level audience, suitable for conferences or webinar and is based on Gavin’s extensive and original research.

We hope you’ll join us at 8 p.m. BST (3 p.m. ET) on 26 June 2025.
