The book of Leviticus records the law God gave the nation of Israel. Now, part of that law included sins the Israelites were not to participate in, including homosexual behavior.

But some people argue those passages don’t apply today because we’re not under the old covenant anymore. Well, the definition of marriage isn’t grounded in the Levitical law—it’s grounded in Genesis! It predates the law by thousands of years.

Yesterday we saw that God punished Sodom for its sin—and one of those sins was homosexual behavior. God held them to his standard, grounded in creation.

The New Testament confirms that God’s design for marriage hasn’t changed.
