Hello, Travelers! We hope you had an incredible time at Time Lab this week! Today our animal pal King the Lion reminds us of Jesus, the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings. As we learned yesterday, Jesus has been busy preparing a place—a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13). Heaven is a real place where every child of God gets to live with Jesus. In 1 Corinthians 2:9, the Apostle Paul tells us that we cannot begin to imagine the amazing place Jesus is preparing. The Bible tells us many things about the new heaven and new earth. There will be no sin or sickness. The streets are made of gold and the gates of pearls. As we enjoy its beauty and have fun playing in that place, the best part is that Jesus will be our Lord and friend as he sits on the throne.

Jesus is the King of Kings. He will rule over everyone and everything forever. While we are still here on this present earth, it’s important to take Jesus seriously, realize he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and tell others about him!

Jesus always has been, always will be in charge, including when he reigns as King of Kings in the new heaven and new earth.

A time warp has stretched these answers! Read Revelation 21–22 to fill in the blanks about the new heaven and earth.

For extra fun, download the below paper and print it out. Hold the paper at about chin level and tilt it slightly downward. Let your eyes follow the direction that the arrows are pointing to read the answers.
