Dads, along with their wives, have the responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). In this day and age when secularists are working hard to convince our kids that God’s Word cannot be trusted, that they are just the result of random processes over millions of years, and that there is no absolute morality, it’s vital that we teach our children to stand on the authority of God’s Word from the very beginning. Yes, parents have a big responsibility!
If you’re looking for something special and memorable to give your dad this Sunday, Father’s Day, I encourage you to consider making a family trip to the Creation Museum (we’re near Cincinnati). On June 21 this year, dads receive free admission into the museum because we want to encourage families to get equipped to raise up their children and defend the faith. A trip to the Creation Museum is more than just something fun to do on Father’s Day. It’s a way of encouraging dads to stand on God’s Word and to become equipped to answer the questions that their kids have so that these children can stand strong with God’s Word as the foundation for their thinking.
Ten Percent Off Zip Line Tours for Dads
If your dad is up for a little more adventure (like I was last fall when I zip-lined for the first time), dads also receive 10% off any zipline adventure that day as well. We have the biggest and best ziplines in the Midwest and they include two-and-a-half miles of lines and skybridges—even a rapid free fall descent.
Dads can receive 10% off when they purchase the tickets while visiting on Sunday or by calling museum reservations at (800) 721-2298 (discount is not available for online ticket purchases).
Your family can also take advantage of our “Two Buy Two” promotion this year—buy two tickets and get two tickets free.1 This is a great time for the whole family to come and tour the museum, especially for dads.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
