The following is a news release we sent to our regional media list last week, announcing that once again (as has become our yearly tradition) on a December 24 (this Tuesday), the Creation Museum will offer free admission. Note that since we want museum staff to spend more time with family and friends on that Christmas Eve, the museum will close at 3 PM; at the same time we will open earlier that day, at 9 AM. This free day is one way for the museum to say “thank you” to our community and region for its support and present people this Christmas “gift”—as a reminder that Christ offers all of us a free gift: salvation to those who believe in Him.
Creation Museum Offers Free Admission on Christmas EveAnswers in Genesis Reminds Patrons of Greatest Gift of All; “New Christmas Town” Continues
The Creation Museum will offer free admission to the public during the day, Christmas Eve. Answers in Genesis, which operates the museum, wants this gift to the community to be a reminder of the greatest Christmas gift of all—the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Babe in the manger.

In addition, the museum will continue its special evening program, “New Christmas Town,” December 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Annually, crowds of up to 25,000 guests attend Christmas Town over its eight evenings, which includes a live nativity, three ziplines over the beautifully lit gardens, and dazzling lights.
Almost all of the “New Christmas Town” activities, inside and outside the museum, are free (except the camel rides, ziplines and planetarium programs) and museum admission in only $5 after 5 PM on Fridays and Saturdays this month.
Video with highlights of “Christmas Town” is available on YouTube.
