Ken Ham is the president and CEO of Answers in Genesis (USA). He has authored several books, including the best-seller The Lie: Evolution. He is one of the most in-demand speakers in the U.S. and has a daily radio program called Answers . . . with Ken Ham, which is heard on over 850 stations in the US and over 1,000 worldwide. Ken has a BS in applied science (with an emphasis in environmental biology) from Queensland Institute of Technology in Australia. He also holds a diploma of education from the University of Queensland (a graduate qualification for science teachers in the public schools in Australia). Ken has been awarded two honorary doctorates: a Doctor of Divinity (1997) from Temple Baptist College in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Doctor of Literature (2004) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Dr. Corey Abney earned a BA from Cedarville University, and a MDiv and PhD from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Dr. Abney has served the Kentucky Baptist Convention as both a member of the executive board and as a past president of the Pastors’ Conference. He is also involved in the Southern Baptist Convention as a trustee of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary located in Mill Valley, CA. Currently, he is the senior pastor at Florence Baptist Church in Florence, KY.

E. Calvin Beisner, PhD, is founder and national spokesman of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, author of several books on biblical economics and environmental ethics, and a former Christian college and seminary professor. He has testified as an expert witness on climate policy before committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and lectured on the subject at the Vatican, for International Conferences on Climate Change, and for colleges, seminaries, and churches.

Dr. Joel R. Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. He has written, co-authored, or edited 70 books.

Dr. Stuart Burgess is professor of design and nature in the department of mechanical engineering at Bristol University-UK. He is author of three books: Hallmarks of Design, He Made the Stars Also, and The Origin of Man, all published by Day One Publications (

Andrew Fabich earned a BS from Ohio State University and PhD from the University of Oklahoma. He began his teaching career at Tennessee Temple University. Dr. Fabich is currently an assistant professor of microbiology at Liberty University. Dr. Fabich did his dissertation on understanding how good and bad E. coli colonize the mammalian intestine to cause disease. He continues working on gastrointestinal research using molecular techniques in animal models. His professional memberships include American Society of Microbiology and Virginia Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Danny R. Faulkner has a BS (math), MS (physics), MA and PhD (astronomy, Indiana University). He is full professor at the University of South Carolina–Lancaster, where he teaches physics and astronomy. He has published about two dozen papers in various astronomy and astrophysics journals.

Bodie Hodge earned a BS and MS in mechanical engineering at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1996 and 1998, respectively. His specialty was in materials science working with advanced ceramic powder processing. He developed a new method of production of submicron titanium diboride. Bodie accepted a teaching position as visiting instructor at Southern Illinois in 1998 and taught for two years. After this, he took a job working as a test engineer at Caterpillar’s Peoria Proving Ground. Bodie currently works at Answers in Genesis (USA) as a speaker, writer, and researcher after working for three years in the Answers Correspondence Department.

Troy Lacey earned his bachelor of natural sciences (biology/geology) degree from the University of Cincinnati. Troy is the correspondence representative and chaplain services coordinator for Answers in Genesis–USA.

Don Landis is pastor of Community Bible Church in Jackson, Wyoming. He is founder and president of Jackson Hole Bible College (, a one-year program with special emphasis on creation for young adults. Don is also the founding chairman of the board for Answers in Genesis-USA.

Tim Lovett earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Sydney University (Australia) and was an instructor for 12 years in technical college engineering courses. Tim has studied the Flood and the ark for 15 years and is widely recognized for his cutting-edge research on the design and structure of Noah’s ark. He is author of the book Noah’s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box.

Dr. David Menton was an associate professor of anatomy at Washington University School of Medicine from 1966 to 2000 and has since become Associate Professor Emeritus. He was a consulting editor in histology for Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, a standard medical reference work. David earned his PhD from Brown University in cell biology. He is a popular speaker and lecturer with Answers in Genesis (USA), showing complex design in anatomy with popular DVDs such as The Hearing Ear and Seeing Eye and Fearfully and Wonderfully Made. He also has an interest in the famous Scopes Trial, which was a big turning point in the creation/evolution controversy in the USA in 1925.

Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell earned her MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and practiced medicine for seven years until she retired to be a stay-at- home mom. Her interest in ancient history strengthened when she began to homeschool her daughters. She desires to make history come alive and to correlate it with biblical history.

Dr. Tommy Mitchell graduated with a BA with highest honors from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville in 1980 with a major in cell biology and a minor in biochemistry. He subsequently attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, where he was granted an MD degree in 1984. Dr. Mitchell’s residency was completed at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals in 1987. He was board certified in internal medicine, with a medical practice in Gallatin, Tennessee (the city of his birth). In 1991, he was elected to the Fellowship in the American College of Physicians (F.A.C.P.). Tommy became a fulltime speaker, researcher, and writer with Answers in Genesis (USA) in 2006.

Gary Parker is a biologist who was with Answers in Genesis as a senior lecturer since AiG’s first year (1994, and remained full-time until 1999). Dr. Parker was also the head of the science department at Clearwater Christian College (CCC) in Florida. For 12 years, he served on the science faculty of the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) in the San Diego area. En route to his BA in biology/ chemistry, MS in biology/physiology, and EdD in biology/geology from Ball State, Dr. Parker earned several academic awards, including admission to Phi Beta Kappa (the national scholastic honorary), election to the American Society of Zoologists (for his research on tadpoles), and a 15-month fellowship award from the National Science Foundation. He has published five programmed textbooks in biology and six books in creation science (the latter translated into a total of eight languages), has appeared in numerous films and television programs, and has lectured worldwide on creation.

Roger Patterson earned his BS Ed degree in biology from Montana State University. Before coming to work at Answers in Genesis, he taught for eight years in Wyoming’s public school system and assisted the Wyoming Department of Education in developing assessments and standards for children in public schools. Roger now serves on the Educational Resources team at Answers in Genesis–USA.

Dr. Georgia Purdom received her PhD in molecular genetics from Ohio State University in 2000. As an associate professor of biology, she completed five years of teaching and research at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio before joining the staff at Answers in Genesis (USA). Dr. Purdom has published papers in the Journal of Neuroscience, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, and the Journal of Leukocyte Biology. She is also a member of the Creation Research Society, American Society for Microbiology, and American Society for Cell Biology. She is a peer-reviewer for Creation Research Society Quarterly. Georgia has a keen interest and keeps a close eye on the Intelligent Design movement.

Dr. Benjamin Shaw has earned a MDiv from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a ThM from Princeton Theological Seminary. He went on to earn a PhD from Bob Jones University. Currently, Dr. Shaw is an associate professor in Hebrew and Old Testament and academic dean at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is a regular author and blogger.

Dr. Andrew A. Snelling is currently Director of Research with Answers in Genesis (US). He received a BS in applied geology with first-class honors at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, and earned his PhD in geology at the University of Sydney for his thesis entitled “A Geochemical Study of the Koongarra Uranium Deposit, Northern Territory, Australia.” Between studies and since, Andrew worked for six years in the exploration and mining industries in Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory as a field, mine, and research geologist. Andrew was also a principal investigator in the RATE (Radioisotopes and the Age of The Earth) project hosted by the Institute for Creation Research and the Creation Research Society.

Michael Todhunter, who earned his doctorate in forest genetics from Purdue University, has spent 14 years in forest genetic research, industrial tree-breeding research, and project management. Dr. Todhunter has also published numerous works in his field of expertise.

John UpChurch serves as the editor for and is a contributor to the Answers in Genesis website. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a BA in English.

Alan White earned his BS in chemistry from the University of Tennessee and his PhD in organic chemistry from Harvard University in 1981. He worked for 30 years at Eastman Chemical Company and reached the rank of Research Fellow. Alan spent his career at Eastman working in research and development in the fields of organic and polymer chemistry. Among his achievements are the discovery of a commercial biodegradable polymer and the improvement of many commercial polymer processes, including the new IntegrexTM technology for producing PET, the soft drink bottle polymer. Alan has been granted 41 U.S. patents and is an author on 18 scientific publications. He has recently retired to spend more time in research, writing, and speaking in the area of creation science.

Dr. John Whitmore received a BS in geology from Kent State University, an MS in geology from the Institute for Creation Research, and a PhD in biology with paleontology emphasis from Loma Linda University. Currently an associate professor of geology, he is active in teaching and research at Cedarville University. Dr. Whitmore serves on the board of Creation Research Science Education Foundation located in Columbus, Ohio, and he is also a member of the Creation Research Society and the Geological Society of America.
