Evolution Tree
This illustration pictures the evolution tree as a way to depict the idea that life first formed as a supposed simple living cell (which is not at all 'simple') and then over eons of time (millions of years) new life forms arose by natural processes inherent in matter. This illustration represents the mechanism of the molecules-to-man evolutionary process.
It should be noted that 'evolution' as such is more than just a mechanism-it is a whole way of thinking, a philosophy of life, that teaches that man, independent of God, by himself, determines truth. It is important to distinguish between just the mechanism of molecules-to-man evolution that Darwin popularized, and the philosophy of 'evolution' itself as a way of thinking.
Thus there are in reality two ways of thinking-building your thinking on the revelation from God's Word, or building your thinking on man's views. This is the real nature of the creation vs evolution issue.
